I have actually looked through a lot of the technology sites that we’ve encountered in class. I had never heard of iGoogle but I made a page and have it set for my home page. I put a box of links for each person in my household so we can all find what we need quickly. I also used Google Docs to upload some of my projects from class to my blog so that my family or future employers can go to my blog and see my work. I am interested in exploring a little more into the web authoring software too.
I found all of these links extremely interesting and useful for teaching. I went to the teacher tube and I found many funny and educational videos that will engage and interest students in elementary school. I also made my own iGoogle page which makes it easier to find my important links.
I really enjoyed the teacher tube link. Students love to watch youtube and teacher tube is the same thing as youtube except it is age appropriate material and does not contain profanity or inappropriate video. It is a great tool to get students interested in their work!
I really enjoyed learning more about igoogle. Although I was having trouble with it when we were working with it in class, I was able to go on to Teachertube and learn more about it, and all the great things you can do with igoogle. I feel that igoogle will definitely be somthing I want to create as a future teacher. It is great when trying to have all my links organized onto one page. I also thought teachertube was a lot of fun exploring. There is so much on there for education. Anything that I want that deals with education is there. Such as fun games for students, lesson plans, and other great educational ideas.
I looked through a lot of the technology available. It all seems really useful and will one day definately use them. Especially the game maker. I (as a student) always like games like wordfinds, crossword puzzles, and games like that.
I really enjoyed exploring the internet especially the games. There where so many games you could play that will help your education.For example,students can play baseball, jeopardy, crossword puzzles, and so forth. The one I played was the baseball, which help you with your math. Everytime you got an answer right you got to move to a base. These games are very educational and will improve students learning skills.
I did some research on technology skype, which I found very interesting. Mostly because I have two friends that live in England, and it would be great to be able to talk with them face whenever I wanted on Skype, as they join as well making it free of charge. I also found it very interesting that Skype is offered in twenty eight different languages and is used by most countries. http://about.skype.com/

I also enjoyed looking through the iGoogle links. I am a user of iGoogle but I never knew how many things one could do with iGoogle. Fun layouts, games and it also serves as an organizer. The technology that I researched can definately help me in the future as a teacher.
I found an interesting find in my exploration throught the tech links. It is called twitter. Twitter is a free site where you can say a one line on what your arre doing and people can suscribe to you and follow you. Its kind of being a stalker in a sense. I beleive this is a key tool on education. The kids can post and say when they are doing their homwork and that way you as a teacher can see what time certain kids do their homwwork. This will also make them do it because if they post they did it and they don't they will be in trouble. http://twitter.com/
Technology has become such an important part in the educational process that i am excited to be learning all of these new tools in order to help my future students through the educational learning process. I have browsed through many of the links that we have seen in class. I especially like the Teachertube because it allows us as future teachers to bring not only entertaining ways of learning to our students but also safe and appropriate material. I am also using the iGoogle web site and believe it to be very beneficial to me when I become a Professional because it will keep me organized and make life easier for me.
